Day 1: Meet you in Casablanca airport and drive to Fes

Day 2: Fes – Sightseeing with official guide
Day tour of Fes

Tour Fes with a private guide. ( Walking tour with some transportation between sites).

*Begin at the royal palace, with its seven golden doors, and learn about the significance of the intricate décor.

*stroll through the Mellah, or Jewish quarter, which was built next to the palace to offer protection.

*Take in the view of the city from Borj Sud, a former fortress and one of the lookouts on a hill where you can see all of Fes laid out, allowing you to spot landmarks otherwise hidden by the skyline-obscuring buildings.

*Visit a pottery co-op to see how they make the unique Fes pottery, as well as handcrafting the intricate mosaics adoring half of Morocco.

*Head into the ancient medina and step into a sort of living museum. The Fes medina is very much a local community that lives and works and goes about daily life in the medina, so be sure to keep moving and watch out for the donkeys!

*Stop by the AL-Quaraouiyine University, the oldest degree-granting university still in operation, having been founded in 859 CE by a woman.

This can include, among other things, the silk weavers, where beautifully colorful fabrics are woven from silk fibers of the agave plant, and the famous Fes tannery, where they process all manner of animal hides by hand, much as they have for nearly 1 000 years, they also sell leather items in every shade and style…

During your tour in the medina, you will stop for lunch in a local restaurant.
Day 3 : Fes • Middle Atlas • Ifrane • Azrou cedar forests • Midelt • Rissani • Sahara Desert • camel trek • luxury camp in Erg Chebbi dunes
From your hotel in Fes, we head up into the Middle Atlas. The road takes us past beautiful waterfalls, cedar forests and rock formations to the pretty town of Ifrane, with its Swiss-style chalets, Royal Palace and university. There are wonderful views as the road winds up to Azrou, and if you are lucky you might see some Barbary apes in the woods! We pass through Midelt, where massive peaks of the High Atlas (over 3700m) tower beyond the town, and travel on through the green Ziz Valley and its dramatic Gorge, carving its way through the mountains. We continue through palm oases and Rissani, with its lovely antiques market, to the town of Merzouga on the edge of the Sahara Desert in time for afternoon tea. From here you will mount your camels and trek out with your camel-driver into the heart of the desert for about 2 hours in the setting sun* – an unforgettable adventure! This brings you to a luxury desert camp, with beautiful private tents, where you can relax, have dinner, listen to traditional music around the camp fire, wander into the sands and marvel at the stars…

*Guests who wish to take a shorter camel ride or do not wish to ride camels can be transferred all or part of the way to the desert camp by 4×4 this evening and the next morning.
Day 4: Across the High Atlas to the Dades Gorge
Merzouga • Erfoud • Goulmima • Amellago • Tamtattouchte • Todhra Goge • Dades Gorge

Wake up early to see the sun rise over the dunes – it’s fun to climb the nearest dune to do this! Then have breakfast in your camp before a 45-minute camel ride back to meet your TourGuide , which awaits you at a hotel. We go first to Erfoud, with its spectacular Fossil Museum (shown in the first two episodes of David Attenborough’s Life on Earth), then head off-road for a very scenic journey into the High Atlas. The winding track takes us through traditional Berber villages with its palmery and kasbahs, set opposite dramatic rock cliffs, and stunning mountain landscapes. After, the road descends through the famous Todhra Gorge, where you can stroll between its towering cliffs. Beyond the Gorge, we pass through the lovely palm oasis of Tineghir, and head to the Dades Valley across the plain, with views of the Jebl Sahro mountains as sheep, goats and even camels graze near the road. We arrive at the Dades Valley in the late afternoon, the best time of day as the sun lights up the spectacular red rock formations of the ‘Monkey’s Fingers’ and the mountains beyond. We spend the night in the lovely Dades Gorge.
Day 5: Dades – Valley of Roses – Skoura Oasis – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou
This morning we will have some fun “Off Road” driving before we continue along the Road of 1000 Kasbahs to The Valley of Roses, famous for its cosmetics, perfumes and medicines. We drive across Skoura Oasis where you can enjoy a bike ride amongst the palms beside Kasbah Amridil which is a living museum featured on the Moroccan 50 dirham note and in coffee table books around the world. Ouarzazate – The Door Of The Desert – is a world renowned film making location. From Lawrence of Arabia in the 60’s to Salmon Fishing in the Yemen 2011 – you can visit the Atlas Studios, one of the largest in the world. There will also be an optional visit to the most impressive Taourirt Kasbah. Then we head to the fortified city of Ait Ben Haddou and we can visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, the most spectacular Ksar in all of Morocco. Situated on the old caravan route from the Sahara to Marrakech.
Day 6: Dades Valley- Marrakech
After a good sleep you will get a tasty breakfast with a fresh air from the nature of Ait Ben Haddou Village. Taking the road to Marrakech by crossing many Berber Villages.. After lunch, we take our route to Marrakech by crossing the High Atlas mountains in Morocco 2260 m. Arriving Marrakech and drop you off at your riad/hotel.
Day 7: Marrakech – Sightseeing
Today after your breakfast you will have a guided tour of the red city Marrakech, you are going to visit Koutoubia mosque, El Bahia Palace, The Saadian Tombs, Menara Gardens, Djemaa El Fnaa. After exploring the red city; drop you off at your accommodation in Marrakech.
Day 8: Marrakech – Casablanca
Today leaving Marrakech and drive to Casablanca, drop you off at your accommodation in Casablanca.
